Default I broke my hammer now what can I make out of it ???

I bought an Estwing framing hammer at a yard sale about 8 or 9 years ago for 2 or 3 bucks , well I was trying to chip out some concrete and well ( yeah I know right tools for the job etc etc) I got lazy and the hammer was handy well found out the claws dont hold up to hitting concrete........

If you're got a forge and anvil you can make it a nice hawk.

Or you can keep using it as a hammer less the claw functionality.

Estwing framing hammer?.........Breaking up concrete with the claws?......
Maybe try hitting your self in the forehead with it?.....LOL ....Naw.... might break the other end....

Maybe have some one with a forge, heat it up and beat it into something useful?

I've made scoop adzes from old carpenter hammers. Never have made one from a estwing but it should be fine.

I had a hammer like that, it was used for nailing up panning and nailing duct from the inside out.

Just heat it up with your welding torch Welderguy. Any BF hammer you have will work and about any big heavy chunk of iron you have lying around like an old engine block or casting, if you don't have an anvil.

I have a nice chunk of rail road track thinking of mounting it to a log or a cement filled 5 gallon bucket to use as a anvil, that should work huh?
@kyrat I thought about the torch but cant find my rosebud tip

What ive been thinking about is a hair dryer attached to a 3 ft pipe plumbed into the bottom of an old grill that I have should work as a cheap makeshift forge
