Yep, that one will be logged into the reference file for future use.

That may become as popular as "good luck with that".

I'm not going to dump my 40k rounds of 22LR... they cost me 7 1/4 cents each.

Maybe... but I got 'em... and I ain't given 'em up. Here is a pic of four cases (5k rounds each)... CCI Mini-mags... taken at the second shipment received just prior to the 2012-Obama election....

I know this fella here in Tennessee.. who is contracted by the TWRA... the State game and fish folks. He is contracted to kill deer and other animals as pests (or for whatever). Uses a 22LR... the State don't like it. But he always gets his kill. I have seen several animals piled in the back of his huntin' rig... all been shot right behind one of the ears. It's uncanny... but he gets away with it.

    I could not do it.

    I have a few options to choose from, 22 hornet, 22 k-hornet, 22 Remington fireball, .223 and a 22-250. I think that's it. Been pondering a 17 hornet.
so the definition of a criminal is someone who breaks the law and you want me to believe that somehow more laws make less criminals?

Never said I could feed myself, just stated that we did put a lot of game on the table when we wanted squirrel or rabbit. If I wanted to truly feed myself I would use a larger caliber. I think the .22 has it's place for small game, and would never get rid of my .22's.
But to simply say a .22 is useless and should be ditched for larger calibers is foolish! Why not ditch you shotguns since they won't reach out to 200 yards, just like the .22 they have their place! Get rid of your AK's because they won't hit a pie plate past 200 yards, get rid of your handi rifles because they don't have 30 round magazines, get rid of your Mossin Nagents because they are frigging ugly.
Of course I am only kidding, but maybe it makes a point, all guns have a useful purpose, otherwise why do most of us have so many of them.

Well, I think instead of a shooting .22 with large magazine.......I will continue to seek out and shoot the .22 single shots.....

Besides looking for ammo give me something to do when DW drags me the Wally World......"Yes Dear, I know, check on /22's......"

PS, Don't forget the .225 Win........
