    Default Motorcyclists Chase Driver

"Alexian Lien's Range Rover was surrounded by several bikers on the West Side Highway on Sunday. One biker apparently cut the driver off and slammed on the brakes just before the SUV bumped his rear tire. But when Lien — who was driving his wife, Rosalyn, and their 5-month-old child — stopped, several bikers began to damage his SUV. Lien fled, striking one biker. But the group caught up to him and pummeled him before cops arrived."

So one biker did the old swoop and brake insurance scam, then proceeded to get pissed at him for actually getting bumped.

Those were some pathetic bikes. How are you goin to sound tough revving your small rice burner engine bahahaha. Buzz buzz! Looked like a bunch of angry teenage girls stole some lame bikes and tried to act tough.

I guess that my point is, one well-placed .45 round in each of the first two attackers would have discouraged anyone else who was thinking about joining them.

Mob mentality shown. And yeah in Florida you would be legal in shooting the guy who opened the door and the guys who smashed or reached through the window.

Driving bicycles like that, they are already in a place far worse than death. Haha..

Ken, how would it play out to start plowing over ever single biker that pursued you in a threatening way like that? I would find it hard not to start playing bumper cars after being attacked and chased.

Running over the pursuers could create problems if they claimed that they were merely following the SUV to stop him from getting away after the first collision. However, as soon as that window was smashed - with the guy's family inside - it became self defense.

Would that really fly? I thought no matte what someone did if you chase them down it will be taken as avoidable and your fault because you went looking for trouble.

What I want to know is, WHY didn't other drivers & bystanders call the police the moment they saw something amiss? No one in their right mind who witnessed this intimidation even the first few minutes would think it was an OK thing to ignore.
This is an outrage on so many levels, it makes me nuts.

    In New York??

I thought Bloomberg and Cuomo had, for all practical purposes, outlawed self defense for the worker peasants and serfs.

The modem is being slow tonight.....took awhile to see the whole thing.....Thought the guy showed restraint.

This folks is a good example of some thing to be prepared for if a Bug out is in progress......What's your plan?

There would be a whole lot more downed bikes on the road....and a window smashed is a invite to the promised land.

Yeah...... The second an attack on me and my family began would have been trouble for the bikers. In Ohio, castle doctrine applies to motor vehicles. Break out the window..... Okay. Now watch how a Range Rover is suddenly a Tonka Truck and those bikes are little hot wheels.

I confused why they required so many lanes? It seemed maybe the driver of the cage became frustrated because of that foolishness. I ride and for a time have ridden in large groups, never did we need more than one lane, unless passing. And we sure never slowed other drivers down....

I think i'd like five or ten minutes of the beginning.

They're lucky that driver didn't brake-check them when they first started chasing.

There are good bikers and bad bikers, and that is a fine example. It does not matter what kind of bike you ride, that was just wrong! A fine example of gang mentality as it propagates into chaos!
If that happened to me there would probably be bikers laying all over the place at the end!

I can't ****ing believe the news. Last night they showed this and left out what the bicycle riders did to the SUV. They made it look like the SUV instigated it and just randomly plowed into the bikers soaking the incident.
