Default Who packs a gun when mowing the yard?

Since I live pretty far out in the country, and my property goes way back from the road, I have an old nylon holster bolted below the seat of my zero turn mower and an old Glock 19 in it. I have got to where the Glock just stays on the mower all of the time because I have other guns for home protection grab guns, and it is easier to just leave the Glock on the mower.
Some of my friends that have seen my lawn mower think I'm nuts, ( No comments Rick ), but it makes sense to me! Do you or have you ever packed on a lawnmower?

My wife mows the lawn so I don't pack a gun while mowing.

If I happen to have my waist bag on when I go to cut the grass then I leave it on. Usually a G-19 in it.

I do my yard with a string-trimmer. It's a pretty gnarly weapon in itself now that I think about it.

I don't mow no mo either.

Honestly, with the grandkids, I usually slip off my holster and slide it into the gun vault safe on the night stand when I get home. So, when I go out in the yard I am usually not carrying a gun any more.

SD, what do you think about the G35? I've been looking at them, but didn't know anyone with any "seat time".

I carry my G26 anytime I'm outside working, mowing, gardening, feeding chickens, working in the shop. Something could show up and you don't want to get caught unprepared. Around here my neighbors don't bat an eye.

Sure, putting a weapon on is just a part of me getting dressed.

I have and carried the Glock 34 for some time. I didn't know I was going to carry it when I bought it or I would have just gotten the Glock 17 Longslide. Which is the same gun with a 1" longer slide. Its a Glock, if you like them then this one is awesome. If you think Glocks suck. This one sucks with the rest of them. LOL

I have gone back to my Sig 226 as a daily carry though.

I carry a h&r 22 with snakeshot in it, or a snubnose 38 w/2 rounds snake shot and the rest hollowpoints.
shooting copperheads while mowing makes it more enjoyable.
