Default IRS Seized Medical Records of 10 Million Patients in California Raid

"The House Energy and Commerce Committee sent a letter Tuesday to acting IRS Administrator Daniel Werfel requesting information about a 2011 agency search and seizure of as many as 60 million medical records from a California health care provider.

....the warrant authorizing that search was apparently limited to the financial records of a former employee of the company and did not authorize the confiscation of the personal medical records of those who had no connection to the initial IRS investigation."

One can choose to get paranoid about a million things a day but that's a lousy way to go through life.
If you can do something about it, do...if you can't, stop torturing yourself and move on...less you wanna give yourself a heart attack. Save that for bacon.

    OK...let's play this out.
    "Someone", like who?
I can know about it...I care...I can send letters of protest to the right officials...I can vote when the time comes.
What, pray tell, can I, or anyone else do more?
Obviously, you and Ken seem to care more than most...what are you doing about it that no one else is?

    I really want to know.

I think most Americans are overwhelmed by their struggle to maintain what they have left of the American Dream. They're not any lazier or more incompetent than the rest of us on average. There is just too little, if any, time and energy to stay current on the national and world news. These folks may watch 30 minutes of highly filtered "news" reporting a few times a week and feel like they're keeping well informed. I see it around me everyday. Family and friends whom I attempt to engage in conversation over some scandal de jour. Often times I get a courteous response, but after repeated efforts, it is obvious there isn't much of an interest. These aren't stupid zombies mind you. These are your average John and Jane Doe Americans. They just seem worn down by the constant grind of surviving. Can't see the forest for the trees mentality.

People can't be alarmed by what they don't know. Whether it be in plain sight or intentionally concealed for a surreptitious agenda. I remain confident that given enough incentive or information these same people are quite capable and willing to take a stand to defend our constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.

The government is going to use the Obamacare health records, no doubt about it.
If we are to have another contest inour national existence I predict that the dividing line will not be Mason and Dixon's, but between patriotism & intelligence on the one side, and superstition, ambition & ignorance on the other

B, In general people dont care anymore, they have the Im only one person what good can i do. its unification, the more that get on the band wagon the better! Sending repeat letters and calls, and telling everyone you know about the problems, blasting it on social media, going to any meetings you can. Its like a sales person, You dont send one letter about your product you mass mail, you mass advertise, you tell everyone about it.

There is still an american dream left? I disagree slightly, with all the social media, news headings on email sites, as well as yahoo, google and other search engines, its hard to not see whats going on. Ill use my sister for an example, She has the Im only one person it wont matter who i vote for or who i write a letter to. and trust me she gets an ear full of what is going on from me and my brother. And he is 10 times worst that i am.

The American Dream is to escape to the wilderness. I know because we get 1 or 2 a week on here searching for it.
