Hi Im Jesse,
i'm a 20 year old young man that loves the bush hunting fishing and many outdoor things, i have some back ground in survival i was a memeber of the Royal Canadian Air cadets where i attended the Survival instructors course for 6 weeks, with a week long solo. But i have been learning survival from my mum since i was little and live in rural South Easter Ontario...so that helps. Having used the SAS survival guide as a reference for my lesson plans im familiar with it but i dont know it word for word. Les Stroud AKA survivor man is someone i look up to and respect, and i have learned a few little tricks here and there from his show. i cannot stand Bear Grylls, or any "survival show" where there is a full camera crew involved. so yea that's me i hope to share what i know and learn more

Welcome aboard. Most on here are in agreement with you about Bear Grylls, and also Les Stroud. However, just let me say something about the shows where "full camera crews are involved." There is some outdoor skills taught in these shows that many of those viewing may not have the opportunity to learn elsewhere. I find them better than no survival shows at all. Just my two pennies.....
