Richard Fitzpatrick
President/CEO - Founder
Magpul Industries
Dear Mr. Fitzpatrick:
I would like to thank and commend you for the stand that youand Magpul Industries have taken in support of the Second and FourteenthAmendments to the United States Constitution.
As a life-long resident of Massachusetts, I have often feltout-numbered and surrounded by voters who continue to elect and re-elect stateand federal executive officers and legislators who have forgotten why the"shot heard 'round the world" was fired in our Commonwealth 238 yearsago. Intellectually honest students ofhistory clearly understand that the type of government that our foundingfathers warned us about has arrived in its infancy stages. At no point in our nation's history has theSecond Amendment been more important than it is today.
I am optimistic that we - the American citizens, law enforcement officers, and elected officials who have not fallen for the socialist-progressive propaganda of a disingenuous president and his elected and appointed anti-Constitution cronies - will ultimately prevail in our efforts to protect and preserve our Constitution and its unambiguous restatement of the freedoms and liberties bestowed on us, not by government, but as a birthright from God. I sense the beginnings of a shift in the political climate - even in liberal Massachusetts - as the people slowly awaken to the fact that Ayn Rand was correct when she wrote, "We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force."
Your leadership and commitment to the preservation of thosefreedoms that have made our nation a unique and singular beacon of liberty forthe past two centuries is recognized, respected, and applauded by those of uswho share your principles and patriotism.
Respectfully,
Kenneth S. Mello,
Attorney at Law
