We had CCW, and they scraped it. Said why have permitts. So now the law is 21 years old, no feloneys, anybody can carry.

Make sure you read up on your states CCW laws as some states have it but restrictions, for instance KY has it as does Ohio and if you carry in Ky by way of CCW the permit is not valid in Ohio thus if you carry it CCW here you get arrested. While some states have it adjoining states do not necessarily allow that states permit in there state. Which by the way I think is crock of bullpucky. Hopeak I must say I like Alaska's take on this but here in the city that would mean the dope boys could carry and that as a cop I got a problem with.

Are you sure on the Kaintuck? It says Ohio and Kentucky are reciprocal. Just asking, I don't know.

FVR, The Dope boys here kill each other, (Good thing). The problem here is every punk and gang member, over 8 years old, all have guns, and they are such lousy shots, they rip off 16 rounds at a rival gang member, miss him but hit 4 taxpayers.

What about the hunter safety programs in high school I hear about? I mean what are these punks learning about shooting? I say blame the teachers for doing a poor job.

I don't think those schools have hunter programs. I could be wrong, though.

I make sure my 45 is in the console or trunk when I cross the Big Sewer into Ohio. My WV carry permit isn't any good with the LEOs I know and the sad part is a couple are distant relatives. KY is different, but I have a few relatives on the KYSP also and they are decent folks. I always carry a legal self defense item, after working nights in DC for years I have become paranoid.

It's always a good idea to follow the law. It is also better to be tried by twelve than to be carried by six.

When following the law, always keep back a safe distance. Otherwise they may spot some "probably cause" to pull you over. Then if you have a 12 or a 6 you risk 30 without either.
