Hit 98 with around 60% humidity. It has been miserable and with my AC in my car blowing hot (think a fan is out) and my windows not being able to roll down (stupid electric windows). I have been carrying extra water in my car to keep hydrated.

I highly recommend everyone carrying extra water in their cars during this heat. Just in case you break down and are not near a water source or food mart. You never know, you may end up giving it away to someone that is broken down and needs it.

I usually laugh when I hear people say a gallon of water a day is needed, but after this past week I've drank a good gallon a day and am still somewhat dehydrated.

    Dear Al,

I've told these guys all along this global warming thing is real. Oh, no, they say. I keep tellin' 'em if Al says it then it's good enough for me. I guess all this heat is making a believer out of 'em for sure. Say, you know any good masseuses? I've got this catch in my get along.

    You favorite buddy,

Have I told you lately, that I hate you??? LOL

The dew point around here, has been running between 70° and 75°. Even when it's not hot, it's yucky.

Woohoo!! The heatwave has finally broken. Got up this morning and the temps are around 22C instead of up in the 30's and it's RAINING! the water barrels have been empty a while now but there's a wonderful gurgling sound outside as the rain runs into them. Oh it's bliss.
