Summer Fun!

Gonna work the garden this morning till it gets too hot. Some of my peas and butterbeans are ready to be picked. Then I think I'll take the boys on a fishing trip down to the pond and do a little nature walk too. Perhaps even pick a few flowers to go in the press. Should be a fun weekend!
Anybody else getting into summer activities yet?

We're table-topping our trip out west in July.
Flying to S. Dakota and hitting as many National Parks and natural wonders as we can in 2 weeks: Badlands, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Mt. Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Until we started planning this in earnest, we weren't aware what vast distances we were hoping to cover so we scaled back a little.
This will be a first for me although Mr. B had done it as a kid. We are beyond excited! Just to get in a car and drive out in the middle of nowhere with open vistas as far as the eye can see will be gratifying enough let alone everything else. And we get to try out some of our gear that I put together. Such pressure...can't wait!

Innocently expanding your horizon then unnexpectedly you encounter a life altering experience like a sunset or sleeping under the stars you begin to take notice of UFO's flying around and the next thing you know you find yourself sitting in your basement with a mountain of food wearing a tinfoil hat. You'll love it!

Not wishing to burst anyones bubble, but wearing Tin foil hats to block the government from reading brain waves is a conspiracy. Research at MIT has concluded that the foil hats actually amplify military broad cast frequencies. It is a conspiracy to get cretin underground groups to wear them in false hopes of protection. In actuality it has the opposite effect may be taking place. Watch this video. It could save you're life. or maybe not. All the other stuff A.S, said is true.

As far as tin foil goes, I'm an open book--whoever listened to my brain waves would be disappointed and probably bored. I don't even dream dangerously.

Sounds like it will be an amazing trip B. I'm with crash. I can't wait to hear about it and see all the grand pictures you'll be taking to share with us!
House and yard work kept us from going fishing yesterday so we definately have to go today. (I'm trying to get out of a family reunion!!) There are some plants down there that I have to get marked before they go out of season. It's really important!!
