    Default No Ammo?

I had to take a quick run to Wally World today. As usual, I figured I'd pick up my 6 box limit of assorted ammo. That's when I saw the sign.

Of course I asked why, and nobody could tell me - not even the Assistant Store Manager.

The sign in my Wally World says, "Due to unlimited availability of ammunition there is no longer any restrictions on the amount purchased." WooHoo. We've come full circle! Finally!!!!

Do you have good luck with their ammo? It seems to spray the paper more than the same brand and weight from other locations. I've quit buying it there long ago.

I don't have any trouble with it.

    Was that in Mass.?

I went to a gun show in Richmond Va., yesterday, and not only was there plenty of ammo, but the prices are dropping.

What are you buying for ammo? I can do fine with the .22 but any of my rifles are very hit and miss.

Yep. Swansea, Mass store. All the ammo was gone and the shelves had knives and fishing reels where the ammo had been.

My mini-14 likes the Winchester white box .223, from there. I like the Remington golden bullet .22 LR from there, but they never seem to have it, anymore. Other than that, I just get cheap 12ga. shells from there, to shoot clays.

Around here, some wal-marts sell guns and ammo, some just sell ammo, and some don't sell either one.

Same here. The Swansea store only sells ammo. None of the others around sell guns or ammo.

That shouldn't have made a difference. I dressed to look just like you.

I finally gave up with them when I went through about everything on their shelves in my .243. I ended up buying Winchesters from a gunshop and it shot great. I have the same stuff from Walmart but I could hardly group 8" with it. This was my worst example but many of the guns I have cut my groups to within an inch and a half by getting the smiley face crap out of them.

I like the white box for the range. I pick up .9mm, .38 Special, and .45 I have picked up .357 from them, too. There's a lot of white box in my ammo locker.

Maybe I shouldn't use my mini-14 as an example, anyway. That thing likes Wolf military classic, better than anything else I've tried. LOL

I'm not complaining, mind you....just surprised.

I guess I have to take it back that I dont buy any ammo from them, I also have plenty of the white box Winchesters in 9mm, 44 mag, 223 and 357mag. I can assume they came from Walmart.

Uh, Crash. That should have been a nope, yup or a yup, nope. I think.

I've bought quite a bit from Able Ammo. I've gotten some good deals there from time to time.
