Did'nt they used to hunt big cats in Mexico with chihuahuas, could be wrong. I thought I heard or read about it. Imagine 20-30 VORACIOUS CHIHUAHUAS on you.

We have some black bear here and they are a pain in the but tearing up fences and haveing run ins with cars but I have never heard of anyone attacked,I have lost stock to coyotes a few times and hogs can be a threat if cornered, but we do have gators and they can ruin a day quick. We have all seen the internet photos

of the giant gators with the deer and they are amuseing, however I have personalty removed many from golf courses and yards working with state trappers. I took an 11 foot 4 in from a small farm pond and a 12 footer in back of my own house. They do not care what you are and fear nothing. We have severel attacks here each year, I have never looked it up but I would think they kill more people then bears.

Also most of the time we must take them live and dispose of them later becuse of the public. I have seen people swimong with a 10 footer on the bank and not have a problem and I have seen a dog just dissaper, you can not be sure, and they are not as rare as folks would have you think Palm Beach County is loaded with them and according to FWS there are 9,000 inh lake Jessup about 20 miles from me.

12 foot gator?! That's just God's way of telling you not to live there, that's all.

I say this all the time, bunny rabbits down eat ya! If you live some place where you are a notch or two down on the food chain then you're obviously in the wrong place.

Bears, yep, they'll eat ya. Coyotes will attack you if you're injured. Lynx have attacked people. I've never had a problem with wolves and I've been up very close and nervously personal. I personally try to stay away from places where things like 'gators live.

9 out of 10 times I gonna run away, the 10th time is cause I put a round (or several) in the big mean animaljk Now I am not afraid of any animals, ant up to a dang elephant, but I respect all of them enough to know I am not on the top of the food chain with animals like lions and tiger, and bears oh my. Or wolves, wolverines, badgers, or even a pack of coyotes. Its about knowing the animals in the area, knowing their sign and looking for it while out there and respecting them.

oh yeah, badgers. I was driving in North Dakota one time and there were two badgers sitting on the side of the road. One of them ran out in front of my car. Well, I stopped in time to not hit him (or her) but the other one thought I did and charged at my car, snarling. Gave me a real healthy respect for them critters.

Apparently, they get around. If you think that's an anteater, I'll take you out where you can get up close and personal with one, partner. It would address the whole question about who's where on the food chain in a heartbeat for ya.

The biggest trouble around here is mosquitoes and some bears. Barely though, there is only like 1 bear sighting every other year where I live.
