That kid is a pound heavier and 3 inches longer than my most recent little guy. Hope you aren't too tired, cuz you aren't going to sleep for the next couple months. You had more sleep in Basic Training.
Oh, and two things I wish I knew on our first, and figured out later.
1. Wrap him up real tight in that blanket for the first few weeks. Newborns like the tight feeling (especially since they were in a tight place for so long). Eventually they don't like it as much, but it will help calm them in the beginning.
2. Don't listen to anyone about how to feed your baby. It is your baby, not theirs. If your wife is breastfeeding, don't be afraid to slip in a bottle now and again to fill the kid up. Some women are practically jersey cows, and others aren't. My wife isn't, although her sister is. So, if your boy is still fussy right after a feeding, then she is probably dry and he is still hungry. Give him a bottle. I really wish we knew this for our first one. It would have saved us a lot of stress.
