Okay. Say you show up at someone's home and the work only takes you 10 minutes. Do you only charge for 10 minutes?

Say 2dumb hauls his excavator to a job and it takes 5 minutes to dig a trench. Does he only bill for 5 minutes?

Fee Agreement says 2 hour minimum per court appearance, and .2 hour increments per phone call. The trick is to line up 10 cases in the same court on the same day, and to make cell phone calls on the way to and from court.

Yep. You bill it under "paralegal" or "secretarial." Outside services can't be marked-up, only passed on.

You could always include the PITA charge.

One customer asked me why my services had gone up so much since the last time she used me.

I said they hadn't.

She said - but this is three times what I paid the last time.

Oh - that's the PITA charge.

Yep - last time I was here you were such a pain in the ### that if you want me again - it's gonna cost you. Apparently my PITA charge wasn't as high as some others - she had me treat her home.

That's why we also have "Fixed Fee Agreements."
