    Default Pics for Winnie

Winnie,I know how much you love snow,so I took a few pics coming home from work today,on my right is a hill,on my left is down, wayyyyy down, coming down this hill after a snow or ice event gives me the creeps and I usually steer clear of it,but they did an awesome job clearing the roads with this snow event.

Beautiful pictures, Nell!!! I thought Indiana would have gotten a lot more snow in this storm! We didn't get a drop. Stinks too. I was actually looking forward to a BIG snow storm this week. VERY pretty pictures though.

It is amazing driving through there (when the roads are clear) and see the snow on the trees ,it's like driving through a snow tunnel.Really peaceful and beautiful.

Although one worries about some of those trees/limbs breaking from the weight.

Thanks Nell! I've needed a snow fix and those pics are lovely. I've been watching that storm you guys have been dealing with, I hope everyone has been OK. Believe it or not I got up to a few snowflakes this morning, but it rained overnight and hasn't settled. We're due for more over the next few days. fingers crossed! Oh and as I look out of the window now.......It's snowing!

Trabitha Not to worry, the weather shows another storm coming Tuesday night that will give you (in NE PA) and me (Near Ft Dix NJ) another 12-18 inches of snow. For me it will be on top of the 26inches or so we got this weekend. I love the snow, but my back is aching

Yeah, we're expecting it tonight. Looks like Illinois is already getting it.

It's been snowing all day, but only started to stick about an hour ago. Better late than never!

Remember if you end up, upside down, the radio knobs are backwards.

Nell, those pic's could have been taken on the road going up the hill behind the cabin.
    Cool, thanks.

It looks like that storm is headed this way, but just like the last one, they are calling for my area to be just southeast of the rain/snow line.

Snow Shmow. A real man shakes his fist at the wind. A real man throws his lighter in the truck and heads out into the wilderness with only a snicker. A real man feels the most alive when he's closest to death. Not many of them old guys left unfortunately. I hope my snow blower starts in the morning.

See, if I could do that...throw my lighter in the truck and head out I might like the stuff. Instead, I have to spend all my work day standing on the side of the road watching whatever they treat the roads with eating my boots away. I get to be woke up all night by the phone because of people driving through poles. All that fun winter stuff...
