    Nice list Ken. Thanks.
Do you eat all that stuff on a regular basis to rotate it out?

I've found that a lot of the Dinty Moore and Hormel stuff has way too much salt.
Curious about the other brands of canned meat you list though. Meat is my downfall as I'm not a competent hunter.

Like Winnie, I'm way too much into scratch home cooked to have too much processed food around. Afraid of throwing too much of it away.

I use quite a bit of it for late night snacks - not regular meals - and I enjoy pretty much all of it.

The kids will also grab a can (except my health food nut oldest son) once in a while. I often dig in to the stock to donate to food drives before it gets old and replace as necessary and when things go on sale.

I've been searching for a thread I posted a while back about making dry ice from carbon dioxide. There's a nifty gadget out there that may ease your concerns about losing power and your freezers. This is the second time I've hunted for that thread - the first time took me quite a while to find it - and for whatever reason, the search function ain't doing it for me.

Two of my favorites, that I eat fairly often, are...
    1. Hormel chili (w/beans) and Ritz crackers.
    2. Ramen noodle soup (Beef flavor). I've gotten addicted to it. I'll fix a bowl of it, when I get home....as a snack! LOL

My pleasure! I really wanna' get one of them. Just another addition to the "when I get enough room to store it" wish list.

Me and the boy's love them things. I always cook two packs drain the water and then add only one pack of the seasoning to the noodles. Then I save the other one for soups, roast and such.yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Another one of my favorites, is Tony Chachere's Jambalya mix. Just add water and a half a pound of smoked sausage, and it's some kind of good. It wouldn't be as good without the sausage, but it would be better than plain rice....by a long shot!
