It is certainly the government's fault that she chose to live below sea level surrounded by tidal water.

They need to add the state and local officials, to the feds, that embezzled a lot of the money or used it for other stuff.

They need to add the Mayor. I better stop there, before my blood pressure goes sky high. Anyways, yeah, it is definitely the Corps of Engineers fault. It is their fault for not flooding the town BEFORE the hurricane. And, it is their fault for not leaving it flooded.

Well, I think anyone who chooses to live in an area that is repeatedly hit by natural disasters is a moron.

But, I did read where they knew for years that the levees were not in good shape and that this would happen. The city made the choice not to do the repairs because they didn't want to spend the money.
