the simple fact is that lawmakers would be out of a job if there were not any new laws to create. so to stay busy they must "not infringe" But find every avenue of things we do that are not governed by a law to make a law for us abide by. sorry they have a lot to do yet. dont be shocked,,,, the next law will enrage you!

Try Article I of the Constitution. It lays out their roles and responsibilities. Bills/Laws are just one part of Congress's responsibilities. The Founding Fathers considered their role so important, they listed the Legislative Branch first.
