wish this site had more close up pictures

Knowledge without experience is just information
there are two types of wild food enthusiasts,
one picks for enjoyment of adding something to a meal,
and the second is the person who lives mostly on ( wild ) edibles

I have alot of pics of edible wild plants but cant resize and they dont fit. I have posted them on other sites through photobucket. Pooter skills are lax.
Stairman - Rick turned me on to paint.net (you can download it free) to re-size (and more) my pics.
Paint.net, for anyone interested, is a sweet little program with a lot of big capabilities. I own Photopaint 8 and Paint.net. Most of the time I use Paint.net for my needs. It's free, it's supported and it's user friendly. And no, I have no connection to them other than being a customer.

The burdocks are sometimes confused with the cockleburs (genus Xanthium) and rhubarb is the only plants I know of

Paint comes with all Windows OS. Just go to all programs-> to Accessories-> look down list and you'll see Paint.

MS Paint is severely limited. Check out The Gimp (http://gimp.org). It's free in every sense of the word and is available for Windows, Linux and Mac.
Our company uses it for all our web design and it works great.
MS Paint and Paint.net are two different animals. Paint.net is far superior to Uncle Bills paint program. And, yes, paint.net is free to download and use. It's freeware although they do accept donations.
