Does anyone remember the link to the you-tube where the guy makes a comfortable camp recliner from a tripod? I saw it on here but cant find it anymore and wanted to make one.

I sure don't remember that one. And I didn't find anything on You Tube when I searched. Sorry.

I don't recall a thread on it either. I did find this on YouTube that sounds like what you're talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH6yq...x=0&playnext=1

Thanks Crash, thats a different video but the same chair, exactly what I was looking for. With the pre sewn seat only to carry, I think thats a perfect seat and plan to make one.

That is pretty slick. I like that. I'm not certain what he used for the ties at the top but you could also sew in another loop at the top just like the bottom and run a piece of paracord through it. You won't have to worry about it breaking.

Rick thats what I planned on doing was sew a pocket on the top and bottom, both about 3 inches and just run a line through one at the top and the pole in the other for the bottom. I thought 4 ft long would be enough and 30 inches wide. The wife is suppose to sew me one up this week.

Is this the one you're thinking of?

You could use a blanket folded in half too.
