When we get any snow the wife and I do oure best to keep the trucks and driveway clean.I think we are the only ones on our street that can be found shoveling during a snow storm. My thinking is that if anything would happen we could get out with out too much trouble.
On Sunday around 1am I had to bring Kody to the ER with a 103 deg fever. Our work keeping up with the snow fall made getting into the Jeep as easy as if it hadn't snowed at all.The drive to the hospital was scary due to the visibility being close to none.Turns out Kody has Strep. We spent 3 good houres at the hospital on his birthday. When we left there was a line of nurses handing out candy canes and wishing him a happy birthday. He felt like a king walking out.
I do not plan on ever changing when it comes to keeping up with the snow.Always have done it probably always will. But the funny thing is that my neighbor who always waits until the storms over said that from now on he will be out every couple of houres too.He may be turning a lear on the "it never happens to us" kind of thinking.
