98 in CT. Almost in 100. Summer heat is great.
Its too much over here. They canceled school because of too much heat.
Yeah I know they can do that. It's crazy. Im suspended from school so im having a break anyway. Lol.
This would be my, "say what?" pose.

ha ha dude.
It just gets me scratching my head. Air conditioned cars, air conditioned classrooms......don't see a need to call off school.
NJ/NY, Crash. The truancy office isn't air conditioned. What are you thinking?
None of the schools in my area (southern Iowa) have air conditioning. It is fairly common for school to be cancelled in June, August and September due to high heat and humidity. I should add that all of the offices of schools in my area have air conditioning, but the classrooms and hallways don't. Guess the principal needs it more than the kids do.
It was hot today 59 degrees was the high, and 38 was the low. Had to take off the long-johns........:p:p:p
high 40's to mid 70's all week in the PNW. Cool wind coming from somewhere.. and rain showers, snow up higher in elevation causing river run offs and then a boy scout drowned today in the Clackamas River OR. even though he had a life jacket and did everything right they are saying. Water temps are low 40's = hypothermia, he got too cold I assume.
Pretty much on the cool side here, had rain mixed with snow the other day and the peaks got a nice new coat. 37F outside at 12:42am. Probably reach 60 or so tomorrow.
Jericho, is your head screwed on okay? You think that breaking the rules and getting suspended from school is a break and something to laugh about?
How about having a family to support and getting suspended from your job?
How about breaking society's rules (we call those rules "laws") and getting suspended from society with a little prison time?
Use your current "break time" to get a grip on reality, Dude.
Crash, most houses in Florida don't have basements. Most schools in New England don't have air conditioning.
Two kids passed out in the high school here yesterday due to the heat. They may cancel school today.
Yesterday, it hit 100. Today, they're predicting "feels like temp" of 106 - 110.
We are breaking out the long sleeve shirts down here. Temps in the 60´s. Mac
All it does here is rain lately, if it ain't raining its high 80s to mid 90s.
Finally!!! Blue skies and sunshine have broken through.
Ken- Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed? Im not happy that im suspended, up here we only have 7 more days of school, and im suspended for 3 days for beating the living crap out of some kid so im saying theres not much to care about, were not doing work in school, and im grounded from almost everything which is the woods. Anyway, up here we don't have air conditioning so I would assume that if we had more school days then they would cancel school. I prefer cold to hot though, at least when your cold, you can try to get warm, if your hot, theres not much you can do.
Dude.........
Not here, pouring down rain until at least 1pm, then in the high 80s... oh the humidity... errr humanity:D
So beating the crap outta someone is cool? Not saying you said that just asking how ya kids think nowadays. Walking away and blowing them off is much easier.
No I just snapped I didn't take my ridalin....no joke. but anyway, because I sense an arguement arising, someone begin talking about tempreture again, please. Im not getting humor out of what I did...
Don't get mad bro, I was only asking.
Meant no offense.
Man it's hot outside. Is that better?
Why you got no fountains in your school? Man pass that next school levy will ya :D lol... I crack myself up.
No Air conditioning, no water, whats next no gym classes!
we have no air conditioning,, but we have water fountains
Then why send a paper home to bring water?
currently 30 degrees here. low in the 20's tonight. high in the 40's may get up to 4 inches of snow tonight at my house (almost 7,000ft)
Warm, :)
Its supppost to be max 15oc :D
Just defending Jericho, but there are some guys who go around acting like complete a**holes and are practically asking to be fought with. Generally, unless its about drugs, usually the guy was just asking for it. Add an already distraught guy into that equation and youve got yourself a fight.
Anyways, these temperatures are killer. Also, Connecticut (where I live) has no good shores to go to the beach and cool down at.
Thank God they weren't around when I was growing up.
