If you do watch TV that is?
I like to watch House and the Stargate shows. I'll watch comedy's every now and then but don't have a particular favorite.
Other than those and NFL games I really don't watch a whole lot.

You're right about that. Not all members on this forum watch tv.
I don't watch tv that often unless I'm at friends' houses. Then I usually like to stick to shows that are educational. So it's usually something on Discovery, History, and the like. I really enjoy watching Man vs Wild and Survivorman. You just have to sift through the bull. I also enjoy learning about the human body, so House is included in there as well.

I use to watch a lot of the History channel, but for the last year there hasn't been a whole lot on there that's interested me.
I guess I do watch the Military channel every so often as well.
T.V.? nope,not unless there is a storm a brewing,then it's just the news,an occassional movie maybe,but not much else,used to watch It Takes a Thief,and CSI.

Wife likes House, me, not really into the tube. I hate sitting in front of it, doing nothing. If I'm going to sit, I'll do it in front of a comp. screen and search and read.
Now, I will throw in or watch a movie now and then. Guy flick. 300 is on the list.
Usually if I watch TV it is PBS since we don't have cable. Now if I am at someone's house and they have cable and I get to pick what we watch... History and Discover channels (along with their subject/topic specific channels) or maybe Outdoor Channel.

I wake up around noon then I spend my days watching soap operas and talk shows (Oprah, etc..) then I watch all the court style shows and Seinfield rerun episodes in the early evening. Then at night I watch the latest Reality and competition programs. At night I fall asleep to the Late night talk shows, then wake up again the next day and repeat! i never even turn mine off! Its awesome!

I did watch a couple of cops & robber programs until the wife got irritated. She didn't like me identifying firearms out loud. Now if she's in the room I go upstairs to watch maybe an hour a day. I keep the tv that I can see on Fox business channel while I "play" in the basement.
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he's too old

I like a lot of sci-fi, but my number one favorite show is Lost.
I also like Survivorman.

my favorite channels are discovery channel, history channel, and court tv. some shows i enjoy watching when i do get a chance to watch tv are cops, the first 48, taboo, and modern marvels. i dont really get a chance to watch tv during the week cause i work anywhere from 13 to 15 hours a day...the rest of the time i try to get as much sleep as i can get![]()
My theory is that people who watch much TV don't have any interesting life of their own. And people who have a life which is so full that they can not squeeze it into 24 hours per day, would only watch 30 seconds of the weather channel per day. I think the biggest joke that there is, is paying $1,000.00 per year for cable/direct TV and then having to watch commercials 20 minutes per hour.
Sometimes I watch my WonderDog on tv, but then I throw a ball and he jumps down to chase it. Other than that, rented movies maybe every second week.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"
I gotta. I just gotta.
My theory is that people who spend time on forums don't have any interesting life of their own. And people who have a life which is so full that they can not squeeze it into 24 hours per day, would only browse 30 seconds of the weather channel per day. I think the biggest joke that there is, is paying $1,500.00 for a PC and then having to watch google adds on every screen.

i liketo watch women's curling. I turn it up loud and go in the next room. All you hear is women yelling things like....

HARD!
Put that rock in here.
Not sure why but I sure do like listening rather than watching.
Really though..I like The Office. Other than that it depends on the mood I am in. Sometimes I need to be mentally stimulated, sometimes I need to be entertained, sometimes I am just so damn tired I like a light funny show I don't need to think about.
But I never under any circumstances watch reality tv
History, Discovery, SciFi, and APTN of course
i watch the military channel at my grand parents house and other shows like pbs.
