I also forgot to mention that the Sawyer Mini water filter can be used with some of the threaded water bottles, so if you have them at home just carry 1 or 2 with you, and at the end of the trip you don’t need to sterilize them or wash them, just dispose them in the garbage and use new ones the next time.

Rick thanks for the hack for you using a Kleen Canteen and a Sawyer filter, by the way if you notice on the pictures of the hack, the Sawyer water filter is upside down, look at the flow arrow, leave it up to me to notice, great hack. Here is my hack using a Nalgene wide neck water bottle, by the way the top of the Nalgene and Sawyer water bottle are interchangeable.

Got a smoking deal on a 4 pack on Amazon. Can't remember but I think it worked out somewhere around $5 each for the minis. Been using the original squeeze and minis for over a year with no problem. Love the minis.

Sorry for the visual mistake, further more I own a Kleen Kanteen; was blinded by the flow arrow. That is what happens by not paying attention to the real detail. Thanks Rick.

Yep..especially the mineral water bottles you bought from walmart or 7 eleven..it also works with the platypus water bag.
