Brig. Gen. William T. "Tom" Meredith
1919-2013

Meredith was an engineering visionary, helping to launch the Prime BEEF and RED HORSE capabilities that have delivered unrivaled engineering capability from Vietnam through Operation NEW DAWN, and in countless humanitarian assistance missions in between. BG Meredith was a veteran of both WWII and Vietnam, earned the prestigious SAME Newman Medal, and was honored by Air Command and Staff College as the first support officer to be recognized as making enduring contributions to air and space power during its annual Gathering of Eagles event.
