Anybody watch the solar eclipse tonight?
Major solar eclipse tonight. We invited a bunch of friends over, BBQ'd some chicken, and watched the thing through a couple of my spotting scopes that I had appropriately darkened with welders glass. It was pretty dang neat and there won't be another out this way until 2017.
Anybody else take the time to do some celestial observing tonight?
Yes but it was during the day as we are several hours earlier then you. Pretty cool.

We got the first half, then clouds. I used my camera with a cd in front to take a cool pic. I'll try and post it up when I get home.
