Yeah, not much to add to a shotgun. I did have a guy offer to trade for a 25-06 he won. I am a lefty, so a bolt action is really just a single shot to me... I declined.

Well, it took a few extra days to get down to Beans and pick it up but I finally have pictures of the shotgun! Now I'll just tuck it into the canoe and head for home......

Gotta agree, way too pretty to use, oughtta put it in a big fancy glassed in case. If I was to win somethin' like that, I'd hafta swap it for 8 - 10 beat up old second hand guns that I wouldn't worry about gettin' stoled or somethin'. But, congrats on havin' one more thing to worry about.

Being pretty wouldnt stop me from using it. I have this same gun in 20ga (minus the NWTF etching) and it is my grouse/woodcock gun. I doubt it will see much canoe time though because my duck gun is a Benelli pump and I dont see this replacing that one.
