Should I take the life jacket off before or after I get off the boat to check traps? Or just leave it on until back at camp for the night?

Congrats on the new addition, sucks about the mishap.

I didn't notice the 7 holes till it was brought up, DUH, so had to check it out and sure enough found that the 686 was made either way.
7 shooter called the 686 PLUS.
Hear all along I'm thinking that the Nagant 1895 7.62 was to first 7 shooter I've seen, (other than .22's).

Now I seeing the .32 mag and a couple of others coming with 7 shots.
Now that cool, as Crash said, Bangbangbang, missed me, bangbangbang, ha, ha, ha, out of ammo, bang "Oh smith"

I guess it would make as difference if I thought I would ever be counting shots. Been there/done that, you lose count after two of theirs and 4 of yours.

And was that a Browning with 13 shots or a Glock with 28 or a Baretta with 16.

Revolver with 9 or 5, perhaps 7 but maybe only 6.

Kyratshooter, Been there/done that, I 100% agree. I would developa "super brain fart " in those situations, and during the "exchange" I could not have told you my name, let alone the number of round fired
