Hmmm....I may have run into another little issue. When I have this thing set on the WYS thingy...every time I click on spell check (in my google toolbar) all the text that I have typed disappears. When I click the spell check back off, my text comes back. I changed the setting from WYS.., back to the way it was, and my spell check is now working properly, again.

Doesn't a misspelled word underline in red for you in WYSIWYG? I'm not sure why you have to turn on spell check. It should be on all the time.

Nope. And if I click on the spell check thingy in the reply thing, (above the field that I'm typing in) it says that I have to download something. If I click on "download" my spam blocker blocks it, so I haven't gone any further.

The one that I normally use, is in my google tool bar. The one on here is above the white field that I'm typing in...towards the right side. It's a little ABC above a green check-mark.

When I click on "reply with quote" I get the white box, with the quote, and where I'm typing. Above the box is the line where the thingy is for makeing type bold, or "insert a picture", or put that quote box around something, or change the color of the text. On that same line, but over to the right, is the spell check thingy. (The one that I don't use.) LOL

I've got the exact same problem. Rick - it's the IE spell checker on the Google tool bar.

I have not downloaded Ispell either.

Okay. Rock and 2D are identical in the profile. I suppose I downloaded spell checker and just don't remember it. In any case, that ABC button does not display. Instead, what happens is any word that is not spelled correctly as I type is underlined in red. If I happen to make a mistake, which occurs about once a quarter. Oh, that's quarter hour. Anyway, if I make a mistake then I can right click my mouse and it displays a list of words to choose from just like Word.
