campfire cooking
Some time ago I found a steel campfire kit sort of like you find at a campground. In addition to the swing away grill surface, to hold frying pans and such, it also has swing away arms for holding coffee pots, and the like. Unfortionatly I didn't save it nor can I find it when I search for it. Does anyone here have on or any suggestions? I've looked at cabelas, gander mountian, sportsman guide and the like with no luck. Ant ideas? Thanks

Last time I saw one it was at Cabelas, It was a single support with swing away arms at different levels, maybe you could make one

My BIL has a set up very similar to what you describe. I'll try to remember to get pics next time he sets it up in the back yard (we are supposed to cook a hog soon). I think he found a few pieces, like the coffee pot arms, but made his own grill rack from stainless rods. I'll get more details on it when I see him again.

idk what a BIL is, but could the thing been homemade? some people build hybrid grills outta scraps

thanks welderguy....Thats a lot closer. The one I saw was ( I think) on cabelas site ( no longer there though) and was about $85.00. I shoulda ordered it then.
