So, I was just planning on doing some finish work on a few knives this weekend and winterizing the outboards when the phone rang yesterday about mid morning.
On the other end was my FIL. He is a builder and has been working on a remodel in Kingfield (about an hour from home) The property had an old chicken coop on it that was build about 100 years ago. It had been turned into a cabin back in the 50's or early 60's and the owners of the place back then had set it up for a MIL.
Well, to make a long story short, he was asked if he wanted it and he decided he would take it up to camp and set it up there. I was asked to help...I guess it sounded like it might be a fun adventure.
We grabbed a few farm jacks (hi-lift) and a whole bunch of blocking and hooked on the trailer and headed up Saturday around lunch time. When we got there, it was about 8" off the ground and sitting on cedar posts but I wasnt smart enough to get the phone camera out until we had started the trailer under the building.
We got it ready Saturday night but waited until Sunday to haul it...it was kind of big and we thought it might be better to move it when everyone was still in bed. Here it is, heading to Phillips with my MIL's Honda in the lead, followed by FIL with the trailer and me taking up the rear.
I didnt get any pics of it in it's new location either...I can get them next weekend though. Sorry the pics stink...it was with the cell phone!
