Totally FREE place to watch broadcast TV on the internet??

Just like everybody else, we're feelin' the economic pinch, so we cancelled our satellite service. I haven't missed it very much, but football season is coming. I MUST watch my team play!

I have found a few sites where you can watch TV shows - hulu.com for example. BUT, I want to watch specific football games, namely Redskins games. (Please, don't give me a hard time. It is hard enough just being a Redskins fan!) Is there any website where I could get these games for free on the internet? The "free" part is a necessity. If I could pay for TV I would still have a satellite.

I am having no luck. I have found several sites which *claim* to be able to give you these games for a fee, but I am rather leery of them. How can I know they will work before I spend anything?

Over here, PTW our TV channels also have what we call iplayer, so you can watch TV for free on the internet. Is there a corresponding service on your side of the pond.

PTW - Why not put a converter box on your TV and use either rabbit ears or an outside arial? You'll at least have access to the VHF network stations. If they are airing a Redskins game - you're in.
