Default FYI: Midland HH50 Pocket Weather Alert Radio $10 +S&H

    Ad Says:
JC Whitney offers the Midland HH50 Pocket Weather Alert Radio for $9.99. (To find it, search for "2JA312013".) It's the lowest total price we could find by $10. It features seven preset weather channels, alert test mode, autoscan, telescopic antenna, and a NOAA All Hazards Alert mode featuring Amber Alerts, biological hazard, and nuclear power plant warnings.

    Notes:
    - I bought one, it's a nice little unit. 5.5 L x 1.75 W inches, weighs 2 ounces (before 3 AAA batteries). Reception is about what you would expect from NOAA and of course depends on your location. Nothing spectacular, but what do you want for $10? Small enough to be run by rechargeable batteries from hand crank or solar charger, if SHTF.
    - JCW had a Free Shipping offer, so I got mine for $9.99 total... should have bought a back-up... if you google you may find other promo codes for available.
    Chance favors the prepared mind.
