Free Photo Hosting

I gotta find another free photo hosting site. I'm not going near photobucket again till I'm sure it's fixed. You can all say what you want but all the posts I read regarding bankerfox.a say it happens right after visiting photobucket and up/dowloading, or even just signing in and looking. And yes, even machines with full McAffee, and Norton are being affected.

What photo hosts do you guys use that are free, and generally regarded as safe? I know there is some space on this server for albums, how do I link those pictures directly into my posts? I could use the site album until I find a fix.

You are limited to 100 pictures in your album. If you want to link to a particular album, just copy the address for it and paste it in your thread. http://www.wilderness-survival.net/f...php?albumid=67

what about individual pictures, though? Is there a way to link each pic in a thread, like I've been doing or am I limited to only linking the album?
100 pics will be filled up in a few days If I use the albums lol. I gotta get a photo-host

If the pictures on your computer are sized right (you'll have to resize the ones you are taking now), you can attach them as thumbnails - again - you are limited to 100. I know there are other hosting sites, but I have not used them.

I think "Windows Live" has a free photo hosting app now. If you have a free windows live account. Like hotmail or the like, or you can create one.

I was looking at it last week but got busy doing something else so I don't know what it's all about. You can even share files and many other things all from the same general site I believe.

That sucks about photobucket. It's what I use and I've had no problems with pop ups or anything from there.

Let's turn the question around. Has anyone on here had trouble with Photobucket? I haven't.

I suspect this may be a bit like the cell phone causing car fires. Warnings were posted everywhere not to use your cell phone when filling up your car when the real culprit was static electricity from the person who just happened to be holding a cell phone. Getting the virus from Photobucket might the perceived cause when, in fact, it was already on their machine.

Actually, today while on Photobucket I had a message from Microsoft pop up that said problems have been reported with this site. I exited and went back on to finish the pictures of my walk today. I figured YCC caused the message.

Trabitha.. theres a virus going around. Poco's been hit twice, so have I, Ken's having problems, and a woost of other folks on another forum I frequent. do a search for "bankerfox.a" or "antivirus soft" and you'll find out whats going on.
