If it's air-tight, how does "survival Kitty" breath???

I pounded on the base rim with a rubber mallet and the removable screw on lid works great. I am most impressed and this is my favorite Christmas present this year. Its the sort of relatively inexpensive thing that a guy like me will use every day and thoroughly enjoy.

I'm sure many of you folks already have lots of these lids - but just like it so much wanted to pass along. Thanks for listening.
I'm curious, just how many survival kitties can you place in one of these containers with lids? Do they put up much of a fight? Do you prep them first? This is a damn fine idea of the highest caliber. Cheers to you sir. We have so many wild cats in this area, I could see me making some money off of your idea. Any interest in going into a partnership?

Repurposing these buckets for food storage at home is an excellent use of them. You may want to use a mylar bag inside the buckets, as air does penetrate most of these type buckets over time.

Thanks! I have wondered if the screw on lids were really worth buying.

Also, I just got an order from this company.

I thought the prices were pretty good, especially on the 1 gallon bags and the shipping was fast too.
I don't think they have anything see thorugh though.
