I think a smaller pack would work for the Tabby. Something just large enough to carry garlic powder, some salt and pepper, and a bay leaf or two. I assume you normally carry a reasonably sized pot and utensils so the smaller 'emergency cat lunch pack' would be all that is needed.

If you don't carry a pot, a turkey roasting bag would probably fit in with the other items rick suggested.

sjj.....these guys have no compassion. A friend, that means that much to you, deserves better.

I would suggest a good dry rub, then cook/smoke at a low temp....250 to 275. Well heck....here's some good ideas, just substitute tabby, for the ribs.
