Possible Modifications?

I'm going to my grandparents house and they have lots of tools and machines there and I was wondering if there would be any modifications I could do to my SAK or my Mora 780.

I was thinking about opening the grind on my SAK. Would this be possible?

What is it that you do not like on these two knives that have fairly impressive cutting edges already?

Well, I messed up the grind on the SAK when I was sharpening it for the first time, and it became really small and it would barely cut.

Anyways, I just got back and i fixed the grind and now its perfect

The last thing you ever want to use are power tools or files to sharpen a blade. Do a search on sharpening and learn how. We have different methods. I sharpen without guides, kits etc, just a medium and hard stone. I have had 60yrs practice and learned by doing.

this part is important.

if you put 12 elders in a room and ask them each how to sharpen a knife properly, you may get 12 different answers, but ultimately if you ask them each to demonstrate, you probably be looking at a dozen fine edged knives.
