1895G peep sight

I just received and installed the XS ghost ring sight to my Marlin 1895G. I had a few Cabela points and thought it would be a good addition. I'll test it tomorrow and see how it performs. I think it'll speed-up my target acquisition. It's a great hog or bear gun. I plan on using it this year for white tail. The 45-70, 300 grain hollow point has that Berry White goin' on. i have a ghost ring on a little 9mm carbine and i love it.

i hope you like yours even half as much as i like mine.

once i got the feel for it i could get my targets very fast.

A little update...

I had to go to the XS web site for installation but they had a nice tutorial and no problems there.

I like the sites. It's definitely faster and easier than the buck horn sites.

Two out of three shots in the 3 inch black at 100 yards out of the box. I can live with that.

I'll test some Hornady LeveRevolution 325 grain, polymer tipped ammo to see how it performs. Later...
