    We've been under a heat advisory for 4 days now. The heat index has been hovering around the 115 mark. I'm wondering if he** would like their heat back.

    Supposed to be 110*F in the valley today, and almost 100*F here... week long heat wave continues. AC would be nice, luckily we are well insulated and have big trees.

    For the first time ever the met office has issued a heatwave warning! Temps expected to rise into the upper 80's with 70% plus humidity. Localised storms expected.
    Phew!
    Over here this type of weather is unprecedented. I'm going onto very early shift to get any work done before it gets too hot!
    Living in a 200yr old cottage with 2 1/2ft thick stone walls has it's advantages tho (nice and cool indoors)
