Thought id show some pics of what I did this summer.

First up is a wigwam me and my bf and familly tried to build but half way through a couple cops told us we couldnt finnish it cuz we were on public land which was a bummer but at least they were verry impressed and said we didnt have to take it down.

Got lost in the woodland flood flats me and me bf camped in. We camped about 3 days and that was the most disorienting environment I ever steped foot in even though it wasnt thick forest. It felt like the twilight zone lol. You cant really see what its like from the pic of it like how the grass was to my hips and how tall the trees were and how it felt like a maze. There were lots of eagles there also. It was verry pretty and I wish I had a better pics

I also went looking for twisted sticks for a walking stick ( you know the ones where a vine grows around it and makes it all twisted) well with some help I found one and got it all stripped and then i took a wood burning pen and did some celtic disigns on it and this is how it urned out

    Thumbs up Way to go!

Loved the pics Owl-Girl & I'm glad to see you back on the forums. You've been gone way too long. It would seem to me that there are very few people on this site as qualified as you are on 'shrooms. perhaps, if you ever get the chance, you could post pics on what is edible & what is not & show us the difference.

Great pics, love the walking stick and the lodge looks great too. To bad you didn't get to finish it.

Great job on the walking stick and the shelter! That was also a wonderful looking chicken of the woods! Luna moths are the most beautiful. IMHO

Think if I had Remy's morning visitors, I'd want Owl_girl's walking stick to greet them with....

One of the offices I worked in had a tarantula for an office mascot (cheaper than a watchdog). Pretty amazing to watch them eat.

That is a really beautiful art design you did there owl_girl. How long did it take you to get that far on the wigwam?

You know what's really funny about the wigwam.....I can see somebody that went on their first hike coming across it and when they get back home they're telling all of their friends how they came across this ancient tribal site.

Now that would be worth setting up a trail camera. Go plant some broken pottery....maybe a broken arrow with some plastic fletchings on it...

I've been wanting to do something like that but with rocks, just like Rock Eagle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_Eagle_Effigy_Mound). I could see the media frenzy now...
