The NightShade series is glass impregnated nylon (I work in the plastics industry) so it is tough and can be sharpened. I've been thinking about getting one of the push daggers and using it as a spear head. The Delta darts I use as tent stakes plus they can be used in a swing trap.

Really? I wouldn't think that a mass spec would pick them up. Believe me, I'm not suggesting that somebody should try and get one through security. I just don't see a practical purpose for them --- unless it involves illegal activity.

And guess what?
If you are caught (i.e. airport/gov't buildings) the penalty will be even more severe than attempting to enter/pass with a conventional knife for the one simple reason that non-metallic knives are specifically designed to evade detection and you are correct, they offer zero paractical purposes for EDC but as noted, they may offer some outdoor trapping/spearing/arrow-type of utility use.
