Default this will twist your brain

jonh lennon once said that if he had to go thru everything exactly the same way to get where he was with yoko ono he would go thru a terrible childhood and teen years and beatle years to be with yoko,
so i put probably way to much thought into this but as you know i drive about two hours a day.
so i am very happy where i am in my life seems like thru all the turmoil i have triumphed, my property and job and my wife things are way better than i could have ever dreamed. so would i do everything in my life exactly the same to get here all the pain and suffering both caused to me (which i could do a hundred times again, i am too strong to let that break me) but it is the pain and suffering that i have caused many others, both as a soilder and as a civillian that i take pause at- i guess it would be to say that i am ok with that so as to get where i am now sounds like i do not regret what i have done as a soilder i can claim it was my job but as a civilian whats my excuse and beleive me i was not a nice or good person for quite a while. but i have now helped many people and even saved a couple of lives since then.
so it has been an interesting conversation in my head- still don't have an answer my self yet
so i aks you would you do every thing exactly the samethe word is exactly folks... remy have fun son

which means you would not be where you are at today (now i know your situation so i know the answer to that) but lets play devils advocate, by changing your choices it might mean that you would not know trax then are you willing to give him up to change your past?

No,I am not willing to give up Trax,if changing those few things in my life meant that, then no,I would not change them.

"The Shadowlands" by: C S Lewis....they made a movie of "Shadowlands" with Debra Winger & Anthony Hopkins. One of the few movies with something to communicate.

I always like to look back and think about the funny things like...you come up to an intersection and there's a fender bender and a couple of po'd drivers hollering at each other. You realize that if you hadn't broken a boot lace that morning you would have been there two minutes sooner and it would have been you....

or...aw heck you guys know, missed a call because of a snowstorm or decided to not go to a certain place and then received a call you would have missed. All kinds of little things in life that put us where we are when we're there and dont really get a lot of thought.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"

I asked myself the same question many times. Its a very tough one. I've gone through quit a bit of bad times and thing now are better than they ever have been, but i still have my issues. But I sure would't want to lose my wife by changing the past, but I would be willing to give up most everything else. Except kids ofcourse.

Short answer is no. I am what and where I am because of choices I made in my life. Some of those choices were bad, some were good, yet others seemed insignificant at the time. I am the sum total of my experiences both good and bad. Since I like where I am and the direction I'm heading......I wouldn't want change things if I could.

Everything happens for a reason, good or bad. I wish certain things had gone differently in my life. At the same time if they had I wouldn't be where I am today and wouldn't have made the friends that I have now. Everything works out to be a learning experience for me, so no I don't think I would change anything.
