    Cool Here's your chance.....

Okay wolves, here's your chance to see what kind of Survival instructor you'd make. You set up three survival situations for your students in the following order:

    a.) Beginner; b.) Intermediate; & c.) Advanced.

In each case you decide the type of environment, weather conditions, which season, equipment, supplies, how many people in the group, what each person's strengths, weaknesses, & medical condition is, or if their solo, etc.. Sound like fun?

It sounds like a college essay!

But for those of you that run a school or teach a course already it ought to be a piece of cake.

Sarge, I'll take the challenge. It'll take some time to put it together.

Thats sure right, the planning /provision stage determines much of what you will or wont be doing in the field. mistakes or oversights can be more than costly, especialy where exposure issues, and enough tool or provisions of nessesity is concerned. someones physical condition is a variable that can change everything.

    1) Spend a weekend outdoors in warm, dry weather with just the clothes you are wearing. Make out the best you can.

    2) Ditto, in cool damp weather

    3) Ditto, in the middle of winter below zero F temperatures.

But don't you teach wilderness survival? If so, your planning would already be done and you could share how you teach your courses with us.

If only an extreme survival course was readily available for the people with obesity........... than maybe they would learn, unless it's hereditary.

Jericho, there are many causes of obesity, from the down right won't do anything,to those with medical conditions, thyroid problems come to mind, and certain types of medications will cause weight gain like meds for diabetes, which just exacerbates that condition.exercise, while good for everyone,is not always the answer to obesity.
