    Default 1957 plane crash in the Sierra Nevada

    Have you heard this one? I first read it a few days ago. This jet pilot took off from the Bay Area heading for the East Coast but crashes his plane in the Sierra Nevadas at 12,000 feet from storms. He ejects before impact and is stuck for almost 2 months in the mountains. Read his story -

    I read about this years ago and if I'm not mistaken there was some sort of show maybe on the History Channel about it.
