Will the 2008 Presidential Election be Canceled?

This is way out there but, I wonder if America is getting Blackmailed by another country. For example Fanny Ma and Freddy Mac spread a lot of bogus paper on the whole world. What if China, who was dumping Fanny and Freddy stock for 5 months be for the closure, got caught holding 500 billion in derivatives, and said take this crap back, or we won't take any of your Treasuries. This whole event is more like a squeeze, than a bailout. I do not believe it, but something smells fishy.

McCain recently suggested suspending a debate so they could all focus on the economy while Osamabama wanted to continue with it. I'm pretty sure the election can't get cancelled, or maybe I missed something in those poly sci classes.

McCain has suspended his campain for President so he can focus on the Economy crisis. I just heard on the radio, that this is just a set-up for Bush to cancel the upcoming election. So, that there won't be a change in power. Also, troops are supposedly being brought in from Afganistan and Iraq that are prepared to deal with "civil unrest" on our own soils!

I am not normally a conspiracy theory believer....and I am still not. But, this sounds weird. Is it possible to cancel or postpone an election?
