Will the 2008 Presidential Election be Canceled?

McCain has suspended his campain for President so he can focus on the Economy crisis. I just heard on the radio, that this is just a set-up for Bush to cancel the upcoming election. So, that there won't be a change in power. Also, troops are supposedly being brought in from Afganistan and Iraq that are prepared to deal with "civil unrest" on our own soils!

I am not normally a conspiracy theory believer....and I am still not. But, this sounds weird. Is it possible to cancel or postpone an election?

It is possable to declare a "State of Economic Emergency", and "Cancel" anything the President wants, Including taking your dogs, your home, your food, anything. Called the "Emergency Powers ACT".

It was born in the Nixon Ruler for life years. Most, feel that if Nixon had not had some weenie wittle, impeachment issues, He intended to be Ruler for Life.

I won't dwell on it, because it is politics, but all he did is say to the voting public that he wasn't going to campaign for a few days while he went back to Washington to actually perform some of the duties that he was sent there for.....novel concept.

At this point, it is beyond me why anyone is even listening to these clowns. It was not even one week ago when the Emperor, Ben and Hank were telling everyone the economy was "sound". Now, if you don't give their banker friends $700 billion in the next 24 hours, western civilization is supposed to end. What happened in the last 24 hours? Did I miss something?

If SHTF really hard in the economy before election date, there is a strong possibility the Pres could go on by proclaiming Marshal Law.

I have to say, if they suspend the First Amendment I would have to shut up. I don't care for myself but it will kill my wife if they kill me or lock me up, so I must limit my exposer.

It's all good if you subject your children to slavery speech. I am basically a nutter, ridiculed on this board and in my community. NOW people are asking me about economics. I'm most cases too late, I'm afraid. The herd is getting spooked my friend. That's the best thing about all this - people are beginning to open their eyes and ears...... if it helps just one person.

It's quite an odd feeling. Now that it's real, I'm losing interest.

What happens after the Reckoning? Time to move on to new pastures? We know what's going to happen now.
