I was driving down south the other day, well south of where we live anyway, when the radio commentator said there was going to be snow, and something to the effect that snow = cold.
Everything is relative, I guess. Like any northern Minnesota boy, I always equate snow with warmer weather - as it seldom snows when it is really cold.
In other respects too, snow = warm. Snow is good insulation. If you don't have enough snow, the frost goes deeper and your water and septic freeze.
If you don't have enough snow, you can't build snow trenches and sleeping outdoors becomes much colder.
All in your point of view.
