    in each forum, they are the posts at the top of the list which have the word "Sticky:" in black just to the left of the post title.

    oh yeah, the forum search isn't great. the thread i believe you are looking for is third thread from the top in the general survival discussion forum [the first forum in the list]

    Sam - For what it's worth, three letter words and below are not accepted by the search engine. Try to pick the most descriptive word(s) you can think of to plug in for your search. In the case above, I used "multi items" without the quotes (you can see those words in the link above) and the thread popped right up. The title for the thread is Multi Use Items. Since the word Use won't be accepted because it is three letter I used the remaining two words. You can see the relevance.

    The Ashley Book of Knots is the bible on knot tying. It's around $50.00 but has about 4000 knots from every walk of life. It's an amazing piece of work.

    About the best retail supplier for paracord I've found is IMS. It's good quality paracord and pretty inexpensive.
