i commiserate with you. this is another year without my hunting license and i didn't even get my fishing license this year.
it's a gloomy place to be.

My comiserations too. Just to make you feel worse, the feeling never goes away. I haven't been able to hunt in years, but I still gaze longingly out of the window this time of year and get super depressed at the sound of distant gunfire.....

The only thing that seems worse than not having a place to hut, is some of the kids in "Hunter's Saftey" class, (We took it with a friend and his boy, as we were all going to Colorado hunting togeather), didn't have a male figure to take them hunting/fishing...guy stuff.
That really sucks..........

Well I got out, but no deer again this year. Had fun though. Did get a few Grouse. Sometimes I forget how spoiled I am with all this public land right in my back yard.
Bad thing is now I have to do all of the honey do's that I have been passing on due to hunting. Sucks when I am only home on the weekends, but at least I am working.

Plenty of deer around here you see them just laying along side the road. I did not see any on cars or hanging at all during bow season, but have seen alot in the fields. Seen one the other day non typical near the expressway would have been a good commercial picture. Freakin huge!
Im in the same boat this year. While I did recieve a quota for archery and killed a young buck, thought it was a doe, I dont have a place to rifle hunt locally. Couldnt afford club dues anywhere again this year and the military reservation I ususally frequent is shut down for now to hunters due to our troops doing manuevers in there. Hopefully by end of month they will open back since theyer due to deploy at that time.
