A Book Recommendation

Do yourself a favor, if you buy it, DON'T read the reviews on Amazon. The people totally give away the ending. Buy it without scrolling down to read the reviews.
Anyways, it is straight up science fiction. Aliens invade earth. That may not be your thing, but it ends up being the US Military as an insurgency, more or less, which might be your thing. Additionally, there is a lot of SHTF TEOTWAWKI survivalist type stuff. Bugging out and all that.
Anyways, I really liked it, there is a plot twist at the end. This is the first book by this author I have read and apparently it is different from some of his other books, so some of his "fans" didn't like the book, and some people don't like the plot twist, which really is out of left field. But it surprised me, and I consider that hard to do.
